An Architectural home completed as a Design and Build project in conjugation with the clients Architect. This home was designed to utilise many of the tenants of the passive house standard with Proclima products used to achieve a high air tightness standard, a fully insulated and isolated concrete slab with hydronic heating and the use of European style tilt & turn timber windows throughout the home. The owner had milled a number of locally sourced trees which were machined in our Joinery workshop and incorporated into the home for ceiling panelling, the kitchen and bathroom joinery and the staircase. Externally the home was clad in New Zealand grown Redwood, Oamaru Stone and Stria Board to the linkway.
